Those of you with long memories may remember this melody from the overture of Rossini’s opera as the theme tune to ‘The Mistress’ starring Felicity Kendal.
This lovely chirruping melody shares the twiddly bits between the hands in this charming arrangement for piano duet by Thomas Johnson giving both players musical interest and challenges.
