Play Guitar! Repertoire by Pete Kershaw Book & CD

Play Guitar! is a friendly, step-by-step guitar method which makes learning fun.
No previous musical experience is required and as you progress through each chapter, you will develop a broad range of skills essential to the contemporary guitarist including: tuning up, music reading, single note technique, chord vocabulary, rhythm guitar techniques, scales, improvisation and music theory.
These skills are consolidated through classic guitar repertoire and specially written traditional and new pieces. A free CD featuring superb backing tracks enables you to sound like a guitarist in a professional band.
The tracks are recorded in stereo, with the melody panned to the left and rhythm guitar to the right. This enables you to hear the complete track before playing either the lead or rhythm part.
